Wendy’s Taco Salad is Back, and it’s making fun of the 90’s

Wendy’s Taco Salad is back and with it comes three great ads about some of us who feel a bit nostalgic about the 90’s, watch them.

So Wendys Taco Salad is back. Apparently the taco salad was a big hit in the 90’s for Wendy’s and now they are bringing it back. Nowadays taco salad is nothing special, that’s often what I make from my taco leftovers. But in the 1990’s it was a new thing, at least at Wendy’s.

And now the taco salad is back on the menu at Wendy’s. Since it was popular in the 90’s Wendy’s have created some fun ads to go with the salad. And these are quite fun.

There are three ads in total and they all sort of mock the 90’s. In each of the ads a parent have gone a bit nostalgic when it comes 90’s. Nothing wrong with that since it was the greatest decade ever, that has nothing to do with the fact that I was slightly younger back then.

The first one is on top and is my favorite. In it a dad have stepped back to his favorite haircut from the 90’s and his son don’t quite understand how cool he looks. The punchline comes when the dad agrees that he can’t go to work with that haircut and puts on a super cool hat to cover it up. Love it.
